The Frank Montgomery Playing Field will be closed next week (week commencing Monday 21st October) to enable the play equipment to be cleaned and a protective treatment applied to the timber pieces. The Parish Council has decided to undertake these works in an effort to extend the lifespan of the equipment.
This work is very weather dependent so may have to be postponed and rearranged at short notice.
The Parish Council received late notice that the instructed contractor has a free slot next week and whilst the Council is mindful to provide as much notice as possible, the longer we wait the less likely the weather will be good enough to carry out the works.
