Annual Parish Meeting 2024 – 7th May

The Annual Parish Meeting for the parish of Wickhambreaux will be held on Tuesday 7th May at 7:30pm in the Village Hall.

The meeting will begin with a presentation from our guest speakers Canterbury Beekeepers who are going to speak about the Asian Hornets. Next, the Parish Council will present its Annual Report on the work of the Council and its Accounts for the year followed by reports from our County and City Councillors.

We then invite our village clubs, societies and other organisations to give an overview of their activities. Please can you let me know in advance if you would like to give a short report and I would also be very grateful for a copy of reports to ensure that I do not miss any key items in the minutes.

Finally, there will be an opportunity for residents to raise any matters relating to life in the Parish. If formal representation is to be made to the Parish Council, it must be submitted in writing to arrive no later than one week before the meeting using our contact form or  by email to wickhambreauxpc@gmail.com.

After the “business” part of the meeting, there will be an opportunity for villagers to meet socially over a free glass of wine or soft drink and light refreshments.

  8. To elect the Frank Montgomery Playing Field Committee
  9. To consider resolutions of which written notice has been given
  10. Any Other Business
