Kent County Council (KCC) Budget Consultation 2027-28 is now open for your views.
Every year, KCC sets a budget to determine how much money will be spent on services.
Demand for services is rising, especially in children’s services and adult social care. At the same time, costs are increasing due to inflation and higher energy prices.
As KCC plan the 2027-28 budget, they will need to make difficult decisions about service priorities and Council Tax. They need to hear your views on:
- priorities for making savings across their different service areas
- how KCC could save money and increase income
- Council Tax options.
