Did you know that tree work carried out in a Conservation Area requires permission from Canterbury City Council (CCC)? This includes crown reductions, thinning or lifting as well as felling trees. Most of the parish in the centre of Wickhambreaux and Stodmarsh is in a Conservation Area, so it is important you check whether an application is required prior to undertaking any work
There is no fee for submitting an application to CCC, and your chosen tree surgeon or aboriculturalist can assist you with submitting the application. CCC determine applications within 6 weeks.
