Kent County Council (KCC) gives notice that part of Wickham Road, Wickhambreaux will be closed from 12th October 2021 at 19:00hrs, with estimated completion by 13th October 2021 at 23:00hrs.
The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Chapel House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Wickham Road, Grove Road, The Street, Preston Lane, Preston Road, Hearts Delight Lane, Preston Hill, A257 High Street, Canterbury Road, Wingham Lane, Wickham Lane and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover replacement works are undertaken by Southern Water.
