KCC (Kent County Council) gives notice they will be carrying out patching repair work to the carriageway of Grove Road between
The List and Stodmarsh Road.
These road surface improvement works are programmed to start on the evening of 27th May 2025 and should take 2 nights to complete. These activities will be undertaken during a working window between the hours of 19.00pm to 05.00am. During these essential works it will be necessary to close the road completely so that they can carry out the works safely for both the workforce and road users.
This type of work can be affected by bad weather, so if it is not possible for KCC to carry it out at this time, they will arrange a new date.
During this closure, a signed diversion route will be in place via Grove Road Wickhambreaux, Grove Road Preston, Preston Lane Preston, The Street Preston, Preston Road Wingham, Preston Hill Wingham, A257 High Street Wingham, A257 Canterbury Road Wingham, A257 Canterbury Road Bramling, A257 Wingham Road Littlebourne, A257 High Street Littlebourne, Nargate.
