The Annual Parish Meeting for the parish of Wickhambreaux will be held on Wednesday 14th May 2025 at 7:30pm in the Village Hall.
The meeting will begin with a brief presentation from our guest speaker, Mr Roger Lithgow, on his role as KCC (Kent County Council) Community Warden. Having been recently appointed as the KCC Community Warden for the area, he wishes to introduce himself, explain what his role entails and how he can support the community.
Next, the Parish Council will present its Annual Report on the work of the Council and its Accounts for the year followed by reports from our County and City Councillors, who are often present and willing to answer questions about the work of the Councils on which they represent us.
We then invite our village clubs, societies and other organisations to give an overview of their activities.
Finally, there will be an opportunity for residents to raise any matters relating to life in the Parish. If formal representation is to be made to the Parish Council, it must be submitted in writing to arrive no later than one week before the meeting either to the address above or by email to wickhambreauxpc@gmail.com
After the “business” part of the meeting, there will be an opportunity for villagers to meet socially over a free glass of wine (tea, coffee or soft drink) and light refreshments.
