KCC (Kent County Council) gives notice it will be necessary to close part of Grove Road, Wickhambreaux, from 11th April 2022, with estimated completion by 15th April 2022.
Grove Road, Wickhambreaux will be closed in the general vicinity of Elm Tree Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Grove Road, The Street, Preston Lane, Preston Road, Preston Hill, A257 High Street, Canterbury Road, Wingham Lane, The Street, Wickham Lane, Wickham Road and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement works on apparatus are undertaken by Southern Water.
